We are just as thrilled as we were two years ago to be a part of the building boom. When we started pre-construction for 888 Brannan, we saw the immediate value that the finish product would bring to the area. Because we have 35 years of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area construction field, we believe we see things differently than the average contractor. Hats off to Richlen Construction’s Project Manager Kara Stein! This past 2012 Christmas, she and other volunteers wrapped presents and coats for the kids of Bethel Island, CA.  Gifts and jackets are donated by many people and companies (including Richlen) throughout the surrounding communities of Bethel Island to spread holiday spirit to the children on Bethel Island. Every child ages 0-18 receives a holiday gift.  Only those who are in need of a coat receive a coat.  “It’s really nice to see the day after the Christmas party (12/18 2012) all of the kids wearing their new warm coats for the winter.” Kara Stein

TENANT IMPROVEMENT

Richlen Construction team, Senior Project Manager Randy Keller, Superintendent Frank Cabral, and Project Engineer Jaime Hunt are nearly completed with Experian new suite at 155 Grand Avenue in Oakland, CA. Huntsman Architects designed Experian's new 16,410 sq-ft., space with 14 Wall offices, two (2) large conference rooms, two (2) Huddle Rooms, open collaborative areas, and a 1,645 sq-ft., lunch room seating lounge.

RICHLEN CONSTRUCTION WINS COMMERCIAL INTERIORS CONTRACTORS AWARD IN BUILDING LOBBY CATEGORY

Richlen Construction is very proud to announce that we have won 2012 best in "Building Lobby" for our main lobby remodel at 425 Market Street in San Francisco!

Congratulations to Richlen's project team: Trip Collaro, Roger Wilson, Brad Davis, Twyla Summers, & Dino Collaro. Thank you as well to the entire staff at Richlen for supporting this project.

We could not have delivered this project without collaboration and enthusiasm from the Owner Metropolitan Life and their property management, Cushman & Wakefield! Special thanks to the architectural team at Studio TMT, MEP Engineers from Ajmani & Pamidi, Structural Engineers from Holmes Culley, Security Vendor; Touchcom, Elevator Consultant; GVK, and the building’s Chief Engineer and Assistant from Able Engineering Services.

This lobby remodel took a high-level of coordination and detail phasing to reduce construction impact on tenants and building guest to keep fully-operational during the renovation. The real challenge was in transitioning to all the building systems from the existing main desks to new desks fitted out with a high-end security system, turnstiles, and revamped ID recognition.

Each team member rose to the challenge and delivered a beautifully executed lobby reposition.
