Welcome to Richlen Construction's Blog. General Contractor San Francisco Richlen Construction celebrates 35 years in Commercial Building experience! We are one of the few family-owned Contractors San Francisco to meet this milestone!

We provide quality construction service out of our Fremont Street office in Downtown San Francisco, and our headquarters in historic Pacheco, California. Richlen commercial services include; tenant improvement, lobby remodel, seismic retrofits, MEP upgrades, new and old infrastructure, LEED, Abatement, Hardscape, Design-Build, and Capital Improvements. A large percentage of our projects are in high-rise buildings in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose.

Our clients range from start-ups to large corporations; E*trade, Wells Fargo, Kenneth Rainin Foundation, Hitachi Corporation, 888 Brannan Street Building Renovation, CB Richard Ellis, Shorenstein, Metropolitan Company of New York, GSA...we continue to work with National and International architectural firms, i.e., Gensler, SmithGroup, Huntsman, Studio TMT, IA, HOK.

Richlen’s longevity in commercial building benefits clientele and partners because we can bond projects. And we do qualify local subcontractors and vendors, and provide self performed work. Never once has Richlen failed to finalize a Contract Award. Richlen's build history surpasses ten thousand (10, 000) completed contractual agreements. Our best assets remain our untarnished decades of reputable industry services. Richlen Construction's successful record is due to how we regularly handle, review, draft and help negotiate clear, understandable contracts in order to minimize the likelihood of confusion or disagreements, which may result and lead to claims. Working first-hand during procurement with clients on budget estimates, bid estimates and control estimates, helps both the client and our project management to grasp the construction contingencies.
