When working with commercial
construction companies, San Francisco businesses have to be proactive about
staying in the loop and being involved in every step of the building process.
One way that you can stay “in the know” is to have your construction company
give you a full schedule before building commences. This schedule should
provide you with a rundown of what builders will be doing on particular days,
of when certain parts of your project will be finished, and more. It’s helpful
for this information to be included in any contracts you sign as well.
As is the case with many commercial construction building sites, persons without the proper
credentials will likely not be allowed on the building site for safety reasons.
Obviously, since this is the case, you can’t just walk onto the building site
whenever you please without someone assigned to your project. You should,
however, be able to attend project and planning meetings related to your
building site, so make yourself present at these events.
